The club was formed in the summer 2005 by a number of avid Arsenal fans from the East Cork Area. The purpose of the forming the club was to give Arsenal Supporters throughout East Cork the opportunity to get together to show their support for the greatest club on earth. The Initial Interim Officers for the application process which had to be gone through to achieve official status was:

Chairperson: Hugh O’ Reilly (Cobh)
Secretary: John Mulcahy (Midleton)
Treasurer: Andy Gibbs (Youghal)

The clubs first AGM was held on August 7 2005 in the Commodore Hotel Cobh and the following Committee put in place to oversee the running of the club,
