Hi please see the following note re: the annual supporters club tournament for 2006. Anyone interested please let me know ASAP so as I can get our entry in if we have sufficent interest. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------- Dear Supporters Club It is that time of the year again where we need to arrange our third supporter’s club football tournament. Who can take the trophy away from reigning champions East Sussex?? The tournament will take place on Friday 26th May 2006 and will be played on the hallowed turf of Highbury. At the moment because we don’t know what interest we are going to get, we cannot decide on the exact format of the tournament. So as a guideline the following may help you in your hopeful attendance of the tournament. We have the pitch from 11am until 9pm. The tournament is complimentary to enter. One guaranteed team per supporters club (for additional teams, please state on your e-mail how many teams you would want to enter. If we need extra teams then a random ballot will be done from supporters club’s extra requests). Your team will consist of seven players and one manager All players must be 18 or over. One of our stands will be open for spectators to attend (you will have to notify us of how many spectators want to attend in advance). To register your interest for the tournament the following information. Name of supporters club Contact name How many teams (One will be guaranteed). Home address (this is so an application form can be sent out). Daytime telephone number. Your e-mail needs to be with me no later than Friday 31st March 2006. Further rules and an application form will be sent out to you once you have e-mailed. On the same day as the Arsenal Supporters Clubs’ Football Tournament we are planning to hold a Meeting of Supporters Clubs commencing at 10.00 am in the Mezzanine, South Stand, Arsenal Stadium. The Meeting will finish at 11.30 am to enable everyone to be ready for the start of the Football Tournament at 12.00 Noon. One representative from each Supporters Club will be welcome to attend the Meeting and it would be appreciated if you could e-mail Katie with the name of your representative. Should there be sufficient space for two representatives from each Club to attend we will let you know nearer the time of the Meeting. An Agenda for the Meeting will be circulated nearer the time.
